After a strong start to the season, the J-Hawks Girls Soccer team has experienced a rollercoaster stretch in recent matches. The team battled to a 2-2 draw against Iowa City West on April 11, showing resilience in a tightly contested match. However, the momentum wavered in the following games with back-to-back 3-0 losses to Waukee Northwest (April 14) and Ankeny Centennial (April 18)—two tough opponents who capitalized on their chances.

Refusing to let the skid define their season, the J-Hawks bounced back in commanding fashion on April 21, delivering a 4-0 shutout win over Des Moines Lincoln. The offense came alive, and the defense held strong to secure their fourth win of the year.

As of now, the J-Hawks stand at 4-3-1 on the season, looking to build on their latest performance and carry momentum into the back half of the schedule.
