The #13 Urbandale J-Hawks (17-15, 3-9) traveled south to take on the Dowling Maroons (11-20, 1-11) in a CIML conference matchup at Dowling Catholic High School. This was a makeup from the previous mathcup that was delayed due to lightning on June 25th.

The offense came alive for the J-Hawks as they combined to get 27 hits and put together 20 runs over the two games. However, they could only salvage a split. The finals were 12-9 and 8-9.

The J-Hawks will be back at home on July 1 to face Ames in the regular season home finale at Gary Page Field. Urbandale moves to 18-16 on the season.
