The #13 Urbandale J-Hawks (15-12, 3-7) were looking to bounce back after being swept by the #2 team in 5A last night. It was a hot and humid evening at Gary Page Field where the J-Hawks took on the Boone Toreadors (11-12) in a non-conference matchup. it was just a JV/V doubleheader with the varsity going at 7:00pm.
In the game, Jaidan Abel got the start, but it was Morgan Barry who came in and got the win and save. The Urbandale seniors had timely hits to drive runs in as well. The final was 9-6.

The J-Hawks will be back in action on Monday, June 24 at Waukee for a CIML doubleheader. The J-Hawks are now 16-12 on the season and match their win total from a season ago with plenty more to go!
