The J-Hawks Boys Soccer team faced a challenging stretch in mid-April but showed resilience and grit to stay near the top of the 3A rankings. After a tough loss to Waukee Northwest on April 15, the J-Hawks dropped another hard-fought match, falling 2-0 to Ankeny Centennial on April 18.

Despite the back-to-back setbacks, the team bounced back with a determined performance on April 21, edging out Des Moines North 2-1 in a much-needed win that helped the squad regain its rhythm on both ends of the field.

Currently sitting at 4-2-1 on the season and holding strong at #3 in Class 3A, the J-Hawks are poised to make a serious push as they enter the heart of the schedule.

The J-Hawks are back in action tonight against Des Moines East at Frerichs Field. JV2 starts at 4:45 p.m., JV plays at 6:00 p.m., with Varsity to follow at 7:30 p.m.
