In a tightly contested match, Urbandale secured a hard-fought 1-0 win thanks to a decisive goal from Timmy Dang in the 73rd minute. The game was a deadlocked for most of the match, with both teams showing strong defensive organization and limited chances.

The breakthrough finally came when Dang found space just outside the box and fired a bender past the goalkeeper, igniting the Urbandale sidelines and giving his team the lead late in the second half.

Urbandale's defense held firm in the closing minutes, fending off a late surge from Dowling Catholic to clinch the win.

With the result, Urbandale continues to build momentum and confidence as the season progresses as they are 2-0-1 on the season.

The boys are back in action on Thursday, April 10, when they go to Southeast Polk.
