August Herbold has committed to play Football at Bucknell University in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania.

Herbold is a three-year letterwinner for the J-Hawks on the football field.  In 2020, he was named Academic All State and Second Team All District.  Herbold plans to study biomedical engineering.

Herbold is the son of Debra and Lance Herbold of Urbandale.
