Watson Named to the IHSBCA Academic All-State Team

Cal Watson has been named to the Iowa High School Baseball Coaches Association's 1st Team, Academic All-State Team.

This year's team was selected by a panel of coaches who based their selection on these minimum qualifications combined with play during the season:

  • Senior                                           
  • Starter in 90% of games or pitcher in the rotation
  • ACT score of 24 or higher              
  • GPA of 3.4 or higher
  • Outstanding moral character
