2017 Marching Band Preview

The largest performing group at Urbandale High School, the 175-member Urbandale J-Hawk Marching Band prepares to entertain fans at the September 1, 2017, home opener on Frerichs Field.   This season’s halftime entertainment, titled “Queens Gambit,” uses familiar classical themes in a modern setting to depict a strategic battle on the Chess board.
